Possum Yokai - The second in the Appalachian Yokai Series. They're incredible for the environment, they pretend to be dead, they can't get rabies, and snakes can't kill them. Nothing is more mystical than that.
There is no yokai that resembles the Virginia Opossum, but they have earned their spot in the Appalachian version twice over.
The front design is an Omamori, a Japanese amulet meant to bring good luck and protection from evil.
