When I attended the memorial services for the survivors of the Invasion of Malevelon Creek, many of the younger enlistees asked me about my service at the dreaded Creek. As much as I wanted to warn them of the dangers of the Automaton menace, I capitalized on reinforcing the importance of the defense of Liberty, Freedom, and Managed Democracy. While I enjoyed the meet and greet with other squads that survived the invasion, many of them complimented me on my cap and wished to purchase their own to demonstrate their pride in their participation in the defense of the Creek. I'm overjoyed that Something Something Designs went out of their way to create a tasteful emblem of respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for Democracy and Freedom. Thank you, from a grizzled Helldiver tempered by the countless battles fought at the creek.
We're happy to represent democracy and liberty with our designs, and so proud that all of you have participated in capitalism to show your support and emotional scarring.
Caught some kid running around wearing one of these, it was absolutely disrespectful and distasteful. He was far too young to have been present at the Creek and I'll be damned before I sit still for such anti-Democratic behavior.
Oh, the hat is pretty cool too, I bought four in total; three for myself and three more for fellow Helldivers. The orders were delayed due to influx, but I was kept informed and up to date on the status and all hats were delivered on-time or before their updated delivery dates. Shame they couldn't be delivered via stratagem. Everyone I sent one too was pleased with the quality.
If you served at Malevelon Creek, your Democracy Officer may have contacted you about getting your honorary hat by now. If not, this is a good place to get it.
I mean, if you're up for it we can see about Strategem delivery...

Nice hat, appreciate it not being a snapback lol. Good, metal clamp in the back. Seems of high quality. Just...Probably not a good thing to wear if you haven't served
It fits well and it's made of nice material. My only problems are that it doesn't stay tight fitted for long, meaning you'll just have to readjust the strap, and the back side of the embroidery is pretty rough. I just put masking tape on the inside to cover it up.
